About Genna

Genna began practicing yoga over 10 years ago to find balance in her life. She was working in TV and Film production and discovered that yoga helped her unwind and relax. It was a release but also a way to regroup and calm her mind from the long workdays.

After taking time away to heal from an injury that now causes chronic pain, Genna incorporated yoga back into her life. She had to learn what worked for her body and through modifications, was able to reshape her practice. Not long after, Genna had the opportunity to further her education and got certified in 2020. It was then she realized there is more to yoga than just Asana (poses). It is a lifestyle, consisting of actions, breath work, and meditation.

Genna is mindful that the embodiment of yoga looks and feels different for every person. It’s constantly evolving as our bodies and minds change from day to day. She is passionate about creating inclusive classes, with adjustments that align with everyone’s individual practice. She takes pride in honoring the roots of yoga and builds sequences that uphold those beliefs.

Genna’s goal is to create a welcoming and peaceful environment where everyone feels supported and inspired.
